Use the template and cut along the straight line.
Cut two pieces of material using the template.
Place the materials face to face so the good side is on the inside and sew along two edges
(the dotted sew line is a guide).
Turn inside out so the good side is showing.
The open edge will be tucked insde the bunting ribbon later.
Use wide ribbon and iron in half along the length.
Tuck, pin and tack each buntin triangle into the fold of the ribbon. (this is the point where you may want to have a loop at the end of the completed bunting so you can hang. We made the loop big enough to hand on the blinds.
Sew onto ribbon to create your bunting.

Off cuts of material or fat quarts are cheap and great for this. We visit Barbara, at our local habberdashers and ask for £10 of off cuts, she is more than willing to help and inspire a new generation of machinists, or you can get ofat quarts from ebay and amazon etc. We also used a few old t-shirts with funky patterns!
Fat quarts are ideal for small sewing projects, I have made bunting, lined funky hand bags etc and they work out cheaper than rolls sold priced per metre.
